Data Deletion
Last updated 29 August 2026
This page explains how to have your data removed from Management Max, what each kind of deletion covers and how long it takes.
Deleting a whole workspace is a button; everything smaller is a request. An Owner can delete a workspace from Settings and it happens immediately. Removing one person is done by an Owner or an Admin from Settings. For anything narrower, individual figures or a single uploaded file, write to us and we do it: those controls are not built yet and we would rather say so than point you at a button that does not exist. Every request is free and answered within 30 days at the latest, usually within a few days.
1. How to make a request
Email [email protected] with "Data deletion request" in the subject and tell us:
- The email address on the account
- The workspace name, if you know it
- What you want removed: your own account, specific figures or files, or the entire workspace
We verify that the request comes from the account holder before acting, then confirm in writing when it is done. For a whole workspace we also confirm with its Owner, because deleting a company's records is not something one member should be able to trigger alone.
2. Deleting your own account
Ask your workspace Owner or an Admin to remove you, which they do from Settings, Members. You can also write to us at the address below.
What is removed: your name, your email address and your stored password hash.
Your access ends immediately: removal revokes your sessions, so you are signed out rather than left working until a token expires. Your account details are removed within 30 days.
What stays: the audit log records that an action was taken by your account identifier. It does not store your name. Those entries remain for as long as the workspace exists, because an audit trail that the person it records can edit is not an audit trail. They are deleted when the workspace is deleted.
3. Deleting specific figures or files
Tell us which weeks, metrics, apps or uploaded files you want removed. Figures your team entered can also be corrected or cleared from the weekly entry form yourself, without asking us; deletion by request is for cases where that is not enough.
4. Deleting an entire workspace
The Owner does this from Settings. It asks for the workspace name typed back, because it is the one irreversible action in the product. Export your data first if you want a copy: deletion cannot be undone. Removing a workspace removes:
- Every metric figure and its history
- Every metric definition, app and app group you configured
- Every import batch, and every uploaded file, deleted from object storage
- Every account belonging to that workspace, and every pending invitation
- Anomalies, weekly reviews and cached aggregates
- The audit log, last, after everything it describes is gone
The live service is clear immediately: the rows, the uploaded files and the cached figures all go in the same operation. Copies may persist briefly in encrypted database backups until those backups are rotated. We do not search backups to remove individual records, because editing a backup destroys its value as a recovery tool.
5. Data reached through a connected platform
Automated connections to third-party sources are not available yet. Management Max does not currently hold any credential for, or any data collected from, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Google, Apple, GitHub, RevenueCat or any other provider. Every figure in the platform today was typed in, uploaded, or sent to us through an API key created by the customer.
When source connections are released, this page will be revised before they go live, and will describe how to disconnect a source, how the stored credential is deleted, and how authorisation is revoked at the provider. Until then there is nothing of that kind to delete, and any request about it will get that answer.
6. What we keep, and why
| Kept after deletion | How long | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Audit entries naming the account identifier | Until the workspace itself is deleted | The integrity of the record |
| Invoice and accounting records, if any exist | As required by tax law | Legal obligation |
| Encrypted database backups | Until rotated | Disaster recovery |
| Correspondence about your request | As long as needed to show we handled it | Demonstrating compliance |
Nothing kept above is used to rebuild a deleted workspace or to contact you again for any other purpose.
